Mars4 is a new Ethereum-based metaverse that will allow users to buy plots on the Red Planet in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Roblox, a platform where independent developers create games popular with children, may be the closest and most expansive vision of the metaverse. Caduceus is an infrastructure-level open blockchain platform specially built for the metaverse and decentralised digital world, which aims to provide a highly adaptable and liberal building block for the metaverse ecosystem, lower the threshold for participants to enter the metaverse, and at the same time bring the market closer to the ideal state with its advantages in VR and other visual enhancement technologies. Although this metaverse was a low-bandwidth, text-based virtual reality system, the concept of the metaverse has not changed to this day; it has only evolved.
Heyning, 45, has joined with some volunteers to form the Open Metaverse Interoperability Group, which aims to establish technology standards for "linking virtual worlds, in the hope that metaverse players will adopt them". However, recognition of NFT on other blockchains is not currently high, which means that if NFT is the entry point of the metaverse and a large number of NFTs are issued on Ethereum, then there is an excellent chance that the rolling logic and underlying layer of the metaverse will be on the Ethereum blockchain in the future or on the Ethereum sidechain. Many blockchain-based metaverse platforms continue to develop Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology that will allow users to fully interact in the space.
